The heart of the Fiesta Las dianas Each day of the fiesta begins with the dianas, morning calls performed by pipers and the municipal band, whose main purpose was, and still is, to wake the sleeping populace and announce a new day of festivities.
At the same time and in the same place the members of the municipal band and a group of loyal followers meet to set out on a long trail which starts before dawn and ends soon after daybreak with their return to play outside the door of the City Hall, where things are already beginning to stir in preparation for the coming bull run. |
