The heart of the Fiesta The "encierrillo"
The 'encierrillo' is when the bulls are taken from this Corral to another one at the start of the Bull Run the night before the Run, and is a spectacle which has its own faithful following. The bulls (and bell-oxen) are run up the hill when the sun, tired of the long day of festivities, sets beyond the horizon, and the silence of the night is threatened by the horn which announces the bulls' hooves on the cobbles. |
